1. MODERN DEVELOPMENT

Now, "CHAZ" JSC annual production volume makes about 3 billion roubles (finished products and goods shipment value, volume of jobs and services in 2004 made 2, 432.6 billion roubles (without VAT) in established prices). According to the results of "Analytical Survey" journal studies, "CHAZ" JSC took second place among tractor and agricultural enterprises of machine building industry of the Russian Federation .

For more than forty-year history the plant steadily developed building up production capacities and increasing range of products at the same time.

One of the most long-range directions of "CHAZ" JSC activities is increasing of the range of products produced for the Ministry of Transport.

Large part of the products produced is supplied to assembly conveyors of the leading tractor building, excavator, engine enterprises and automotive industry of Russia , CIS and foreign countries.

Output products, such as track chains, sprockets, are exported to such giants of machine building industry as CATERPILLAR, FIAT. The plant has long connection with companies of Italy , China , Poland , Latvia , Lithuania and CIS countries. The share of export in the total volume of production is steadily growing and made 9.2% in 2004.

The plant products are subject to severe quality control at all production stages starting from inspection test of the incoming raw products and materials to finished products output before they get to the end user. In April 2001 the Plant quality system was certified by the Body of Certification Marine Register of Shipping for conformity with 9001:1994 MS ISO and GOST Ê ISO 9001-96 requirements. The next step in this direction was introduction into the action of quality management system on May 30, 2003 , corresponding to MS ISO 9001:2000 and GOST R ISO 9001:2001 standards requirements.
